Hi! We’re Peter, Carly, and our son Asher. Black Cherry started from a simple idea: too many beautiful hardwood trees end up chipped or thrown away after they’re removed. We wanted to give those trees a second life. We partner with local tree companies to rescue logs that would otherwise become waste. Back at our shop, we mill every log ourselves on our sawmill, dry the lumber, and turn it into handcrafted pieces we’re proud to put our name on. Every hand crafted piece and planter we make is entirely unique, showcasing the tree’s natural grain, color, and character.
